Friday we have TWO incredible Options for you to choose from: Canyoneering Adventure OR Summer Beach Party!
Option 1: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Mount Baldy Canyoneering Adventure (limited spots available).
For those singles looking for a thrill-seeking, adrenaline-pumping adventure, join us for an unforgettable Canyoneering High Adventure Rappelling down 5 waterfalls (two at 90 feet) with expert guide Kirk Hess in the shadows of Mt. Baldy. After Hiking up a short but steep trail, participants will top out near the waterfalls. Participants will learn to use rappelling gear and Rappel right through San Antonio Falls. This trip is great for a true adventurer or beginning adrenaline junkie. You should be in good health and not afraid of heights in order to participate. You will be getting wet in cool water. Space is limited to 20 singles (sign up during registration) and is open only to singles paying for the full conference weekend. Your Canyoneering Adventure Conference Host, Kristin Dalton, will be emailing/texting you the address of the meet-up spot to carpool to the trailhead (drive is about 1 hour 30 minutes). Please bring $5 to help pay for gas/Parking Permit. All participants must sign a liability waiver provided at the trailhead the morning of the activity.

Things to Bring/Know:
Bring $5 to help pay for gas/Parking Permit.
Climbing helmet or at minimum a bike or skateboard helmet
Bring a packed lunch or snacks and 2 large water bottles (Nalgene)
Small school size pack to carry water bottles and snacks
Bring any prescription medications, inhalers, glasses, extra contacts
Dry bag or freezer ziplock bags for items you don’t want to get wet
Hair Tie - long hair must be tied back at all times
Dress in comfortable clothes/shorts/pants/exercise clothes that can get dirty/wet
Sturdy closed-toe hiking shoes or tennis shoes with good tread, they will get dirty/wet
We will be outside, so dress appropriately for anticipated weather (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, windbreaker/jacket and whatever else you may need to stay comfortable for the half day)
Dry clothes and shoes, left in the car to be changed into after canyoneering
This adventure is for early bird, paying singles only. First come, first served space for 20 people.
Option 2: 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM Summer Beach Party & Potluck BBQ @ Heisler Park in Laguna Beach 375 Cliff Dr, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
Sun warmed sand sifting through your toes, rhythmic waves gently crashing on the shore, the sun’s rays kissing your skin, and the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean against the Laguna Cliffs! A perfect summer beach day awaits you at Heisler Park, so grab your sunscreen and beach towel and come join your fellow conference attendees for a Beach Party & BBQ in breathtaking Laguna Beach!
Our Beach Party & Potluck BBQ is a conference favorite and offers tons of fun beach activities for everyone: swimming, body surfing, tide pools, paddleball, beach catch, corn hole, sand castle building, and relaxing on the beach! Laguna Beach, famous for its art studios and unique shops, offers free hop on/hop off trolley rides up and down PCH that you can use to explore this beach town. You can also check out the annual Sawdust Festival (tickets are $8).
12:00 - 1:00 Potluck BBQ - Please bring a side dish or dessert to share - Hot Dogs, watermelon, and drinks will be provided.

Recommended what to wear/bring:
Bathing suit/board shorts/trunks; t-shirt/shorts, sundress or bathing suit cover-up; flip flops/sandals
Sunscreen; sunglasses; hat; beach towel; beach chair; SPF chapstick; personal beach gear (fins, mask, bodyboard, etc.), book/magazine
Side dish or dessert for our potluck

Heisler Park Parking/Facility Information
There is plenty of street parking all along Cliff Drive in front of Heisler Park. Credit cards and quarters are accepted at all parking meters. Rates range from $1-$4.50 per hour. Most meters have a 3-hour limit.
Disabled Parking: If you have a handicap placard, you may park in an on-street metered parking space without having to pay (for up to 72 hours). However, you must pay to park in a regular, non-handicap space in the city parking lots.
There are restroom facilities at Heisler Park at both North & South Heisler.

From the 405 Freeway exit Laguna Canyon Road (133) South towards Laguna Beach
Follow Laguna Canyon Road / Broadway till it ends at Pacific Coast Highway (1).
Turn right onto PCH and then turn Left onto Myrtle to Cliff Drive to Reach North Heisler Beach
Laguna Beach Trolley information Free Summer Trolley:
The free summer trolley runs daily from June 26 through September 2, 9:30am – 11:30pm. Download the Visit Laguna Beach app to access a real time trolley tracker. Use the SHORT TROLLEY (PURPLE ROUTE) to be dropped off and picked up directly at Heisler Park
Sawdust Festival Designed to both entertain and educate, the Sawdust Art Festival draws more than 200,000 visitors worldwide each year. Visitors are invited to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a hand-crafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship. Artists that exhibit during the summer festival are Laguna Beach residents. The Sawdust Art Festival also features art demonstration booths such as glassblowing, complimentary hands-on art workshops, a children’s art booth, a Ceramic Center, as well as refreshments from four outdoor cafes, live musical entertainment and more.
