THURSDAY, July 31st Los Angeles Temple Event

Please join us Thursday at the Los Angeles Temple to serve in an Endowment Session at this iconic temple, there is plenty of space at this table for all to worship as reservations at Newport are very rare to get last minute; so we will make the journey so we can all worship together. Also there is a secondary option to spend time at the beautiful visitors center with singles which is open until 9pm something Newport Beach doesn’t offer.

5pm Dinner Meet-up: If arriving early, plan to meet us for Dinner prior at the Century City Food Court Mall 10250 Santa Monica Blvd, 2nd level food court, for a dinner meet-up at 5pm - 6:30pm. Look for Kris Dalton outside in front of the food court, Lots of food choices and eating options outside and inside, dinner is on your own. We will plan to leave to head back to the Temple about 6:30 pm.
Parking Fee at Mall - First Hour: Free, 1 Hour 20 Minutes: $4 Each Additional 20 Minutes: $2

7:30 PM Endowment Session: Temple reservations are recommended but walk-in’s welcome; please sign up.

Please Remember LA traffic can be bad this time of day, so plan to arrive between 6:45-7pm at the latest to give yourself some buffer. Wanting to go in as a group? Please meet up outside the LA Temple Visitors center at 6:45 pm, and those going to the temple will walk over together just before 7pm. As a reminder or in case you didn’t know, the LA Temple does rent clothes if you need them.

7:15 pm - 9:30 pm Los Angeles Temple Visitor Center Meet-up Meet up outside the Visitor Center at 7:00, then we will meet inside the theater at 7:15 for introductions and instructions. Then we can break into small groups for an activity. At 8 pm we will meet back in the theater for movie snacks, while we watch a church movie. Afterwards when the visitor center closes at 9pm, from 9-9:30 we will explore the exterior temple grounds, taking pictures of the temple at night before meeting up with our friends after the temple session concludes.

Important: These are no-host carpools — friendly faces teaming up to drive, not official transportation. Bring your own car so you’re not stranded — do NOT get dropped off & if noone there, get going!

IMPT - After serving in the temple, if you plan to carpool to go eat with friends or Explore LA, you will have to move your car. We will see if the Church building in the same parking lot as the temple is avaialbe. (10740 Ohio Avenue) In the parking lot, you will have to exit the temple, turn left then head to Ohio Avenue and make a left. IMPORTANT - the temple gates will be locked after the temple is closed by 11pm; however, we will confirm if there will be access to the church parking lot after hours.
